About the Event
Join us for an all abilities DanceAbility class put together by Dance for All Bodies and taught by India Harville. The instructor will use the DanceAbility’ method to promote an inclusive environment where all people of all physical and mental abilities can come together for an enriching movement dance experience. DanceAbility uses 4 basic elements: sensation, relationship, time and design to create improvisational, group movement exercises. Everyone is welcome in this classes, whether you have a disability or not, we want to make dance a fun experience for everyone! All ages, abilities, experiences welcome. India has over 17 years experience in the fields of embodiment via massage, somatics, and dance. India is trained in several massage/somatic modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Shiatsu, Thai, and Rosen Method Bodywork. India has studied several forms of dance including NIA, Zumba, KiVo, Dancing Freedom, DanceAbility, and American DanceWheels wheelchair ballroom dance. India has over 15 years teaching experience.
