Noa Porten (she/her) is a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, dancer, student, and storyteller with a focus on accessibility and inclusion. Strengthened by her own experiences with chronic illness, Noa’s belief is that everyone is deserving of inclusive and accessible spaces, and that all movement is worthy whether it's sitting, standing, laying down, outside, in the kitchen, or in a studio. Noa’s journey rediscovering and redefining dance has led to her passion for the intersection of mindfulness and movement. Noa uses mindfulness as a tool in dance and movement, and dance and movement as a tool in cultivating present moment and body awareness.
Noa received her 200 hour meditation and mindfulness teaching certification through The Interdependence Project (IDP) and now teaches inclusive mindfulness and movement for Yoga for All Humans and Dance for All Bodies. In accordance with her passion for inclusive mindfulness, Noa has taught a group class series for the Chronically Capable’s community, as well as an accessibility and inclusion workshop for the meditation teachers at the IDP.
