All Abilities Seated Flamenco Class (Virtual)

Join Clara Rodriguez, director of AguaClara Flamenco for an intro into fiery, rhythmic Flamenco dance!  Clara will teach a combo of basic technique and easy to learn choreography, with students learning floreo (hand movements), braceo (arm movements), palmas and pitos (rhythmic handclapping and finger snaps) and fun dance combos to inspiring musical selections!  The class will continue learning Sevillanas, the fun and festive social dance popular in the south of Spain.

Currently we are working on getting an ASL interpeter and closed captions for our classes. If this is something you need, please make sure to indicate it, so we can make sure to support you. 

Cost: We have a suggested donation of $5-15. Your donations directly go towards paying our instructors and allows us to offer these dance classes available for all abilities! If you are not able to donate at this time, we still hope to see you there! Just make sure to select "Free" when you register.

More about Clara Rodriguez:  Clara Rodriguez is artistic director and founder of AguaClara Flamenco, based in Oakland, CA.  She has been training and working professionally in the flamenco world for nearly 30 years, and has since been a featured soloist in productions throughout the United States, Spain, Portugal and India.
